Iraq, 2003. As the conflict draws to a close, a military squad, accompanied by CIA agent Rachel King, is tasked with checking a potential chemical weapons factory at the foot of Mount Zagros.
Upon arrival, the search party is ambushed by a local patrol commanded by Sergeant Salim Othman.
During the battle, an earthquake causes a gap on the surface, and both squads find themselves in the buried ruins of a Sumerian temple, where something sinister awakens in the darkness. The ancient voracious creatures have new prey.
The squad will have to face terrifying discoveries and make impossible decisions on the way to the exit from the underground labyrinth.
